Pedigree’s new campaign matches kids’ drawings with adoptable dogs

Pedigree has launched Rescue Doodles, a campaign that turns a kid’s dog doodle into a real adoptable dog.

Pedigree believes all dogs make the world a better place — and all dogs deserve a loving forever home. That’s why they’ve partnered with Adopt-a-Pet.com and launched Rescue Doodles, a campaign that helps families find the perfect dog for adoption.

Powered by AI tech, the program allows families to text a kid’s dog drawing and find a similar-looking nearby rescue dog available for adoption.

The program is available in the US from now until 30 April and you just need to text ‘Doodle’ to 717-670-6675 to start.

Once matched with a pup, families looking to adopt should schedule a meet-and-greet with local shelters and potential matches to make sure it’s a good fit.

This campaign is a clear example of how marketing and design can turn words into action and clearly communicate what a brand believes in.

Having a brand purpose is not about writing a poetic paragraph for your about page, but having a guide to make decisions, whether for a campaign, a redesign, or a social cause. Staying true to your purpose will help your brand be consistent and build trust with your customers.
